Named after our Vizsla, Starr, this wine is very special to us. A blend of 78%
Syrah and 22% Sangiovese. The wines were aged in 100%
new Hungarian oak barrels for 18 months. This wine has
great structure with a refined softness. A fruit-bomb
of black cherry and plum coupled with smoked bacon, a hint of
spice and vanilla. This wine is rich, with a luscious
mouth feel and a finish that seems to go on forever. Perfect
with grilled meats. Only 38 cases produced.
